Les Terres du Milieu – The Middle Lands
In shamanism, the Middle World is the world of Nature — a realm where humans coexist with trees, fauna and flora, but also with fairies, elves, and the spirits of the elements. In Buddhist wisdom, the Middle Way is the path of non-attachment to extremes; it is perfect balance. Tolkien begins the epic journey of The Hobbit in Middle-earth, where Humans live alongside Dwarves and Elves.
Geographically, the “middle” is what is commonly referred to as the Middle East — the place from which I draw my roots: Lebanon.
And since realities are multiple, perspectives varied, and legends abundant, there is not just one Middle Land but a rich tapestry. These are the Middle Lands.
Here, they unfold through visual and literary creations — expressed in books and artistic magazines rich in meaning and quality.
